We love our children and youth at Swift Creek Baptist Church! We are here to help them grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Dear Parents: It is my goal to lead your student into a lasting relationship with God through Jesus Christ. The Children and Youth Committee will offer a safe environment and help your student become a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ.
Join us on Sunday Morning:
9:30 am – Coffee Fellowship
9:45 am – Sunday School for all ages
11:00 am – Join us in the Sanctuary for a Children’s Sermon followed by our JAM Worship Service led by our Children and Youth Minister, Holly Lee.
Swift Creek Children is our ministry to children ages infant through 5th grade. Our K-5th grade children participate in corporate worship with the congregation before being dismissed to JAM. JAM is our “Jesus and Me” worship service where they will hear biblical principles and learn how to apply it to their daily life. Modeling family worship is important to us at Swift Creek. We want our children to be able to participate in all elements of worship (singing, prayer, and giving offering) each week and see this modeled by their parents and other adults around them.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14
Infant & Toddler Ministry
Our Infant & Toddler Ministry serves children from birth through 35 months old. We treasure our youngest members and want to show them the love of Jesus!
Our Preschool Ministry serves our 3 and 4 year old children. Our preschoolers enjoy this class until they begin attending kindergarten. Our teachers are excited to be Jesus to these young ones and model for them how to love others!
Our Elementary Ministry serves our school-age K-5th grade students. Our elementary age kids come together for small group time during Sunday School. Then, we all meet in the congregation until we are dismissed for JAM. JAM is our “Jesus and Me” worship service. All ages come together in a worship style atmosphere where they learn the biblical principles and are able to apply it to their own lives.
All of our children are participating in The Gospel Project. The Gospel Project is a Christ-centered Bible study resource that follows a chronological timeline of Bible events—from Genesis to Revelation—over the course of three years. Each week, the stories come to life through video, music, activities and more as kids connect biblical events to God’s ultimate plan of redemption through Christ. It’s the whole Bible like kids have never seen it before!
Swift Creek Youth is a group of middle and high school students (6th-12th grade). We strive to create a safe environment where students can be discipled, hear biblically sound teaching, and experience Christian community. We seek to serve parents by coming alongside them to point students to Jesus, the church, and the parental leadership in their lives.
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12
We are called to walk as Jesus walked and we are learning to walk as the community of Christ by setting an example for others. We do this through worshiping, praying, studying, laughing, working and fellowshipping together.
We host an Easter Egg Hunt, Daddy Daughter Dance, Vacation Bible School, Youth Night Out, Fall Student Kick-off, Trunk or Treat, MERGE Weekend, Mission Trips, Retreats and various other activities throughout the year. Give your student a fun place to grow in their relationship with Christ at Swift Creek!
